Massage Therapists

Sarah M. Taylor, LMT and Krystal McFadden, LMT and Amy Holzhueter, LMT

Massage is a great compliment to your regular chiropractic adjustments. When your spine is misaligned your muscles are pulled and irritated. Regular massage therapy can keep your muscles relaxed, which in turn, can help you adjust easier and maintain your adjustments longer. Prevention is the key. Your body will be in optimal health by keeping up with chiropractic adjustments and massage therapy.

Massage is a whole body treatment. In fact, many of today's doctors are prescribing various forms of massage therapy to compliment traditional medical treatment for illness, stress relief, injury and pain. In today's stress-filled world, massage is one of the most effective ways to reduce and ease the tensions of daily life.

Types of massage offered

Swedish

Swedish massage, allows the muscles to relax. Muscles are stroked and kneaded to encourage them to relax, to release toxins, and to improve circulation. Sometimes a heavy pressure is necessary to get muscles to release and relax.

Deep Tissue

Deep Tissue massage uses slow strokes and deep pressure across the grain of the tense muscles. It is applied with more pressure and to deeper layers of muscle than Swedish massage. There is evidence that deep tissue massage helps break up and eliminate scar tissue.
